We went down to the river yesterday for a swim with the dog, was lovely to get in the river and cool off, although I think the mutt was confused as to why we were having more fun than him. If we were IN the river, then who the hell is there to throw sticks for him

Best £1.99 from Tesco we've ever spent!

The river wharfe at Harewood Bridge, walk along the footpath, go past the broken weir, and about 200m further along there's a lovely stretch thats about chest deep for a long way up and down and a muddy/pebbly beach. Its generally lovely and quiet. The farmer has just cut the hay, so field is devoid of sheep - great for me! Access isn't great, but we bashed a little path through the himalyan balsam which worked well

Adorable! I tried to find one in Tesco yesterday for my pug but they didn't sell any

I got mine the end of last year and put it away, should have got a bigger one but £1.99 was enough to spend as he pops them.

All my GSD friends buy cheap ones as the dogs usually eat them

I read the title as Pug Poo, and was expecting some horrendous designer breed. . They look ver contented in their pool.

My pugs absolutely hate the water, I cant imagine them getting in a little paddling pool of their own accord! Would be handy in this heat though!
