Hi there - haven't posted on here before because I haven't had a dog for a couple of years, but yesterday picked up our new pug puppy. He's black and looks like a cross between a baby rabbit and a bat at the moment. So cute. Had to tell about him! We've called him Hugo
 
I love pugs! Pics please and regular updates. I know a lady that works for pug rescue and I am always sorely tempted when she gets a new one to rehome. The vet bills put me off though, but they can't be any worse than for my lurcher surely.
 
I love them too. We had one before that was given to us as a puppy and I think must have come from a puppy farm as she had really bad health and couldn't really walk very far because of her bad heart, but she was the sweetest little dog ever. I just loved her to bits. I came home from work one day to find her dead in my bed, we think from a heart attack. She was only three years old and it has taken me three years to think about getting another as I felt she could never be replaced. That's why I went for a black one this time, the same only different - and also went to a small private breeder, met the mum and dad, and breeder has has all the health checks done. So hopefully we will have longer with this little character.
