Ben Maher (Eperlaan Du Fouquet), Cian OConnor (Casper) and Robert Whitaker (Finbarr V) all succeeding in soaring over the 74 inches famous red wall in order to tie for first place.
yep otherwise known as 2m25 or just plain bloody huge!! This is Ben Maher at the final height which he cleared far more convincingly then the 4th round at 2m17 when the laws of physics were defied!!
it was amazing! it just touched one wall i think it was but no blocks even looked like moving, but every other height it didn't even touch unlike the others which where literally skimming over the top
no my mum did! i did take some but as I have no zoom they are awful! Before drove my mum back to airport took copy of all her pics! most of the rest of the jumping ones are a bit blurred but there are some cracking ones. got a brilliant one from one of the prize givings in the gallop. Going to crop and upload the rest then stick them in the gallery for all to see but got quite a lot!!
you know when the commentator said (about Casper) 'it's a flipping giraffe!' about 5 people sitting around me,including my best friend, all went 'no it's a flipping kangaroo!'
Saw the puissance wall on the Sunday and it was blimming huge! Those horses/riders are really brave to jump it..I know I wouldn't.
Cian O Connors horse Casper is lush...
