Hi
Well, it turns out she hasn't broken her splint bone, but she has pulled her hind extensor tendon.
Has anyone had any experience of this injury? The vet said it's a case really of playing it by ear a week at a time with this.
But on the up side, she loaded like a dream, I mean perfect, travelled beautifully, and behaved impeccably at the vets. Perfect with all that noise and smells and other horses. I'm so, so proud of her.
I'm sure everything happens for a reason, and I really think part of this was so I could see how perfect she is in new environments and travelling.
