Pulled muscle?!

How long is the recovery for a pulled muscle/ strain? My mare is slightly short in front and we think she has a strain/ pulled muscle. Easily done in this weather (very boggy where we are) and she's a clumsy madam as it is. She's been on box rest since Friday. But I just wanted to gain others experiences of this? And how long was the recovery?

Can't give you a time I recovery as don't know but maybe worth getting vet to have a look?
My mare pulled shoe off in field and was quite lame. After ruling out bruising or an abscess the farrier thought was a pulled muscle and would be fine in few days.
Got vet out and turns out she has an suspensory injury so always worth getting them checked out.

Thank you for the reply, really appreciate it. I have contacted the vet and they've said to box rest her for a week and if she's still lame to call them out, which I most definitely will. I have the farrier coming to check her feet tomorrow too. I know that's all I can do, I just wanted to gain some advice/ reassurance really, horses can be such a worry. She seems completely well in herself which is a good sign.
