I saw one at a yard I visited the other day. It was a normal sized barrow but had a plastic wheel at the front. Does anyone know who makes these barrows and where I could buy one?
the company I work for sells these wheels, they are called a microcellular wheel and are soft and giving yet completely puncture proof. If you give us a call on 01604 814740 and ask for chris, I'll do you a good deal
I replaced by B&Q wheelbarrow wheel, with a solid green colour one also from B&Q cost £14 or £16 can't remember precisely. It does the trick and it is still going strong a year later.
I saw a TV clip about driving in amazona with no garages, they stuff the tyres with hay to make solid wheels.
there are lots of wheels lying around most yards as the B&Q barras tend to die fairly fast.
I use tyre weld, it seals the puncture and pumps it back up all in one go and off we go again with inflated tyre!
Takes less than 2 minutes, comes in a tin and you can buy it in garages or car accessories shop.
