Ok, Ive got a puncture on a rear wheel on my lorry which is twin axle (so 2 back tyres). Does this mean I will need to replace both back tyres? It seems I only have 1 valve for pressure etc in the back tyres, does this mean they are somehow "interconnected"?!

Any help VERY much appreciated!!!

just the one......it needn't be replaced either...if the tyre is ok, then it'll be just a tube..

and no, they aren't connected in any way!!!!

No they are not interconnected. I was a bit puzzled as to why only one valve on mine, was then explained to me I needed extension tubes fitted to the valve on the inner rear wheels to enable it to easily be blown up. ATS do them and dont think it is all that expensive, not sure how much as got the garage to sort mine when it went to be plated.

Suggest you go to a commercial vehicle tyre place.

Write down all the numbers on the walls of the tyre and phone the tyre places up first to see who has got them in stock and how much they are.

you dont really need to go to a commercial garage. i work for the family tyre place and we do horse boxes/trailer etc as well as cars all the time.
also, just because its punctured doesn't mean you need a tyre. could just need either a tube (as said) or a patch on the inside to fix it.
