Puppies 2nd Agility Competition - Videos!!

Both dogs did 4 rounds but only got videos of the 2nd class!
Bran came 2nd, Eddie 4th in this one. Both got good results and went well!

Wow, they are doing really well at only their 2nd competition. I think mine were still getting eliminated in every class long after that. What height is Bran, is he in the midi class (its probably called something different now).

Yes, he is just a Meduim (jumps the 3rd hieght up) he just measured in!

Thought he must be. How many sections do they have now, when I first started agility there was just full size, then mini was introduced and then a couple of years later midi. I had a friend who competed her (admittedly large) sheltie at full height with quite a lot of success, she was gutted when the midi height section was introduced just after she retired him!

how on earth did you get decent weather and ground to run on lol?

the show we we were meant to be at this weekend was cancelled this morning ( as were loads of others) and those already there are stuck until tomorrow waiting to be towed out! Thankfully I decided to give it a miss when i saw the forecast!

They have 4! Micro, Mini, Meduim and Maxi. Have a feeling KC have 3 hieghts tho, not sure

in KC its small, med and large.. just new names for the old mini, midi, maxi
...does make it easier on the tannoy tho, no more "all remaining dogs for mini jumping in ring 3, thats mini, m-i-N-i"

Now I'm really confused, didn't realise there was another agility body, mind you its a good idea to not let the KC have a monopoly imho

Love them just started agility with my little dog and so far he is loving it hoping to have a go at a small comp in the winter or at least the clear round at our local agility show!!!

Lovely videos reminds me I must get my camera out next time I'm at a show.
And MurphysMinder there are 3 agility bodies that I am aware of- KC, UKA and BAA. have only been to KC and UKA shows though. UKA have an extra height to KC, and different grading system.
