Puppies drinking wee!

Has anyone else found their puppy does this?! I don't know whether he has just developed a taste for it or what but it's a wierd habit. Am wondering if he is short of something? Puppy is fed on Hills, 50/50 dried and tinned. He's up to date with wormer and always has a full bowl of fresh water! Anyway he is going for his second jab tomorrow so I will ask the vet, just wondered if this is a normal phase?

It is possibly something he has copied off his dam. A bitch will clean up the wee and poo after her pups, sometimes if she is a really dedicated mum she will keep doing it until they go to their new homes. I had one bitch who suffered ammonia burns round her mouth she was so keen on her job! Sure your vet will reassure you, and hoepfully as he gets older he will forget about it.
