Have no idea of the accuracy or otherwise, but better safe than sorry so cross posting from another forum:

Puppies poisoned
I saw this on the agility forum, and thought it should be spread around. The person who posted it was told by a friend via facebook that a breeder
"had a man come to see her jack Russell puppy's (3 of them) with a view to buying one, he asked if he could check them he put his finger in their mouths as if checking them, he said he wasn't interested,he left with in minutes of him going the 3 pups fell ill she rushed them to the vets he had poisoned them, 2 of them have died the other is very ill. The police have been informed. This happened in Ely Cambridgeshire.
The third puppy has survived and is staying with the breeder.
There are some very sick people out there."

The puppies had been advertised on Preloved, which is presumably how the man located them.

Yes, busy too! I'm still in my GTP year, and had my support tutor in to see me, so many sleepless night sorting out evidence folders!! I had a really good observation though, so I'm happy!

A little different but to make people aware, there have been two people in the East Mids, one in Ellistown and one in Leicester, who've had puppies stolen after people posed as buyers. The one in Ellistown was stolen and presumed sold on when the owner left the "buyers" to fetch the mum to show them. They've been caught but the pup hasn't been found. The one in Leicester had the whole litter stolen.

The puppies were advertised on Epupz and Pets4Home, I've never used the latter but I have used Epupz to sell puppies - never again!!
