puppies that were slung in the river

Sorry but no chance. That river was so fast flowing that not only would they have dies in less than a minute but noone would have been able to get in to rescue them.

Sounds like someone with similar looking puppies trying to make a fast buck.
 
Can't see it myself, that river looked too wide/fast/deep to save that many. However I did wonder if the video was filmed with real puppies in the basket, one is picked out you can clearly see it's a little puppy, then there's a tiny break in the film and 'something' is thrown into the river. Shot then goes back to basket, with one less puppy in, another is picked out (definitely a puppy) then there's a slight break in the film and 'something' is thrown in. From memory there isn't a continuous in frame shot of puppy leaving basket and going straight in the river, there's always a break.

If someone saved them, it does cross my mind that the 'hero' who saved the puppies merely took them off the thrower and substituted a plush doggie beanbag toy...well I hope so.

It WAS the school holidays after all.
 
I find it hard to believe that they are the same pups. i would have thought that the shock alone would have killed them very quickly. Also the river seemed to be very fast flowing.
I hope im wrong but they dont even look the same, the old womans pups look like gsdx. the pups thrown in river seemed to have more white on them.
I would love to think those poor pups were rescued but I doubt it.
 
the pups that were thrown were more white and black not tan and black. i would assume that the woman who has claimed to have rescued the pups owns their mum and can't afford to keep them or feed them so is hoping someone will come forward and take them. also to get some money out of it.

i honestly can't see anyway in how she could have seen them in that river and also to then go in and rescue them, they would have been carried downstream too quickly.

the girl who did it and the person who filmed it should be locked up, well actually they should get worse but i shan't say what i think on that as i may get banned!
 
Yeah i'm not convinced they are the same pups. Anyway how could she possibly save them all? If she went to pull one out the others would have already passed her in the current. Wish it was true but sadly I think they would have all died in that river.
 
Happens more often than you think unfortunately. My mum used to work for the CPL, she rescued the odd box which was destined for the river... one of our cats actually was from one box! They were actually thrown in, but someone saw and got them out. Very very sad, if someone is THAT desperate could they not leave them on the doorstep of a police office or charity?? Better than drowning. Horrid.
 
The pups the old woman has in her arms are much older and have their eyes open. The pups thrown into the river were new born, you can tell by their cries. I just doent end does it!
 
What I don't understand is why she would have it filmed and put on u tube? It just doesn't make any sense.
I agree, those pups look much older and totally different anyway.
I really hope that Dubsie is right and it wasn't really the pups that were thrown in.
