One month old now!! It's fantastic to see their little personalities develop so quickly, it's incredible how different they are.

The four of them :D

They are adorable. That little male looks full of attitude!

He is AMAZING, he is a dream dog, sooo quiet (he is the only one who never cries when mummy goes out of the room, he is sooo reserved but not shy at all, just the ideal Italian greyhound! Aloof is the word) if only he had been born a girl!! I even thought about sending him to Casablanca so I could keep him/her (just joking).

His owner is the luckiest man on Earth (I keep telling him!). He's the one who is going to go to Venice - I bet that in a few years' time people will be travelling to Venice to see him rather than the town :P

From the look on Peanuts' face, I think she is thinking something along the lines of 'Kids! Who'd have them!':D

Beezle is incredible, she is so good with them, she is the perfect auntie! Peanuts really isn't, sometimes I worry about her - she doesn't seem to have any opinion on them at all, they use her as a mat (which is what Florimell always does...it must be instinct), and she lets them, and that's it :(

Was just thinking oh that's a lovely foal pic but where's Florimell gone? (sig) then saw this thread :)

They are a stunning litter - how on earth do you choose between the girls - would want them all!

It was Lionel's future owner, not you :(

But you've got to come! Beezle is waiting for you, she thinks Bodo will give you a love-token to bring her :)

Oh of course, I just hope it gets through airport security :o :o :o
Bloke has decided that he really wants to go to Sicily now instead of Egypt so I shall try to point him north!!!

Goodness, they are the most gorgeous beasties ever! You wouldn't have one going spare now would you?? ;)

CC, that is so interesting about GSDs. Dizzy loves to play tug but he can do it equally well with my OH, gives him a real fight for the toy, and with tiny children, pulls so gently he doesn't unbalance them.

Lol Booboos, we do actually still have one girl because the family who was supposed to buy her just didn't convince me after getting to know them a bit more so we turned them down (they asked us to keep her till she is 3 months old because they are on holiday for the whole of August...this per se would never be a problem, of course, but they said they go to this place every single year and they are not allowed dogs....so what are they planning to do next year? Send her to a kennel for a whole month? So they are going to have the dog for 11 months a year only?? It just didn't sound right, plus I wasn't convinced from the start as they have an 8-year-old daughter who wanted to choose the puppy from the pictures, no questions about character etc...it's not a catalogue sweetheart!)

I completely understand now MM, the point is - we have invested so much emotionally in this litter, there is no way they are going to less than ideal homes. I am not being unreasonable, the Venice man who has bought Lionel (the gorgeous male) is a first time owner but he is asking all the right questions and he is so open to learning, he does work all day but his office is bigger than our living room (!! His own company obviously) and Lionel is going to be with him all day every day, he really made a good impression on us and I am 100% confident. But this family just didn't convince me... some people think that only because they are willing to pay for a puppy that should give them carte blanche!

They are absolute sweethearts. Not my kind of dog so I won't be "borrowing" one from you but they are beautiful.
On the knocking people back from having one though. Hubby and I were interviewed for both of our rotties. The breeders did it in such a subtle way we didn't realise until they said "OK you can take the pup". To me it shows a dedication to your puppies and to the breed in general. With our first rott we signed a form saying we wouldn't breed from her til a certain age and we were perfectly happy to do so.
