My Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Darcy had her puppies today. She had 10, 7 dogs and 3 bitches but sadly one dog was still born. All doing well although one of the bitches is quite small so we're keeping a close eye on her.

Here they are:

...make the most of the first few ( quiet )weeks and be prepared for pooh clearing duties and endless feedng for the 5 weeks afterwards

- they look lovely ! ...oh and don't worry too much about your tiny girl - it's amazing how quickly they catch up - try making sure that she is always placed on the back teats where the milk flow is the strongest and she should be fine

Aaw gorgeous babes. I wouldn't worry too much about the tiny one. I am sitting here with my oversize GSD bitch at my feet, and she was the runt of our last litter! As Milor says just put her to Mums fuller teats regularly, with any luck she will soon catch up. And I don't envy you the weaning, poo cleaning stage in a few weeks time!

She's doing fine, she's quite strong this morning, she's always on top of the pile and she's definitely filled out a bit. Mum's not so worried now and doesn't think that there's any reason for her not to catch up size wise with the others. Never know she may be the best one and the one we keep.

What's going to be more hard work is that due to the ages of Darcy for her first litter and Jenna for her last litter means that Jenna's due to whelp next Thurs

that's gonna be one biiiiiiiiiiiig pooey mess when they're all up and about. Especiallyas Jenna looks quite big
