Hi guys,

Overreacting mummy here. Chloe has been being sick, only really small amounts, for about the last 3 or 4 days. She's not lost any weight, and shes running around fine and eating fine so we're not too worried (and haven't taken her to the vet as she has an appointment on Friday anyway).

Some of her poos are fine, solid and everything, and some of them are really runny. Until just now, she's still been going outside to do them, but she's just done one in the house which was squiffy and is unusual for her. She's eating lots of grass as well.

Think its probably just something she ate and shes feeling funny, or something we should worry about?

With her being a puppy she has probably eaten something she shouldn't have but as she is still being sick 4 days later I would be getting her checked out incase it's something that is stuck - these pups are wee monkeys!

Do you think it can wait until Friday or should I try and move my appointment forward?

She was wormed when we got her (which was about 8 weeks ago now) would she need doing again?

Argh I'm completely useless at these things =[

Well it depends what she is being sick with - white frothy stuff or her food? Anyway I would have starved her for 12-24 hours after the first couple of times to let her settle down a bit, then reintroduce bland food like chicken and rice (that old favourite!) or similar.

As it is I would tend to bring the vets appt forward from Friday if she has been sick over a few days, I would be taking more action if mine were being sick for longer than a couple of days maximum but then would have starved them to stop it anyway

She was sick once massively with her food - threw her whole stomach up lol. But since then she's just been throwing up very VERY small amounts of food - as if shes caught something in her throat. But for 3 days....

Didn't want to starve her as she's only little.

You'd still be better starving her cos every time she is sick she is irritating the lining of her stomach/throat etc - which then makes them more sick

Hence like she has got something caught in her throat...

As I said, I would bring forward the vets appt to the beginning of the week, but I am sure it will be nothing to worry about

As suggested bring the app forward to tomorrow, if she is bringing up undigested food, it is a possibility there is a blockage, esp if she is literally bringing it up straight away, is she able to keep water down?

Yep she's keeping water down and the majority of her food. The one time she threw everything up, about half of it was digested and mushy and the other half was still solid so I'm guessing she is digesting stuff and she is still pooing.

Going to ring the vets now! xxxx

Argh! First appointment is on Wednesday morning unless its an emergency. Which it isn't. Two days of stress.
