My whippet puppy is nearly 6 months old.
The breeder had been feeding him Redmills Racer. He had nice solid poos. I wasn't too keen on the ingredients list so swapped him gradually over to Arden grange puppy (chicken) as an alternate middle range food. He has always been hit and miss on this, he will have a few weeks of soft but just about okay poos, to then being really loose. He has also had CSJ Complete Tripe as my adults are on this which again he is still quite loose on! He also gets NatureDiet wet puppy mixed in.
If I take him off his normal food and put him on chicken and rice or white fish and rice, he firms up nicely again.
I'm half tempted to put him back on the Redmills with some Chappie instead as he got on well with the Redmills and Chappie is meant to be good for sensitive tummies, but wondered if anyone has any middle range sensitive options that they would recommend before I resort to feeding him a lower quality that I would normally.
