Hi all,
I have a 4 month old puppy who i am having huge problems with toilet training. I have a 3 year old Weimaraner and a 2 year old Vizsla, i had no issues, I crate trained them both. They have their own area (a coal house type area off the kitchen about 4mt x 2mt, insulated for winter/window for summer) lots of beds toys so are quite happy out there, they sleep there and stay there whilst i work, 8.30am - 2.15pm each day. Every day i come home he has wee-ed and poo-ed at least twice... I don't know what to do, he had a bad start as we had builders in when he was 8 weeks old so we couldn't get in a routine properly so it's not exactly his fault. I still have the crate and want to put it back in but he is attched to the hip of his dad, the viz, do you think this would work or do you think he would howl constantly? I would put the crate right next to them, i know i should of done this from the start really but i've just not done too well. he has his breakie at 5.45am and comes up the stables with me at 6am every morning and has over an hour running about so plenty of time to poop. What would you do?
Thanks
