Puppy Schools/classes

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of any puppy classes that they reconmend in the Ipswich area please? And what is a resonable price to pay?

My biggest tip is to go and watch the class before you enrole. Are the methods used gojng to suit both you and your puppy? Personally I don't like puppy classes where pips are let off the lead in a free for all"playtime" it teaches the thugs to be a bully and timid pups that there are things to be frightened of..jmho

Ask at your vets, I know mine run them, also trainers often advertise on their boards.

I would always direct people to the APDT due to the positive methods of training that they do which sets up the dog and family to start off training on the right foot. http://www.apdt.co.uk/

Agree with advice saying go and watch different classes, see how you feel about them.

Wouldnt completely rule out free-play so long as it's supervised byl people who aren't complete numpties, puppies can get alot out of it (even bullies!)
