Betsy has been gradually loosing her baby teeth for some time now and upon inspection I found that she has some new teeth growing in along side the puppy teeth that have yet to fall out. The puppy teeth affected all feel wobbly but not like they are going to come out in the next couple of days.
Is this a case for the vet? I havent had a puppy in 12 years (even then I was only 10!) so have no idea on the 'norm' regarding teething!
She had started becomming picky at feed times with the dry kibble which, upon reflection, could be due to her sore little gums. She is now either having it in warm water or with tuna.
She has lots of teething sticks / chews / toys (spoilt!). She is VERY mouthy at the min, we try to be consistant and remove our hands / toes / whatever she has in her gob with a 'no' and ignoring her attempts to do it again. But she is one determined little thing. I dont know how a vet would actually get a hand in her gob without Betsy nibbling on their fingernails!
