Does anyone have any advise on puppy training. I've had my puppy a week - so still early days. The problem is the mum didn't go outside for toilet or use paper - just went on floor so puppy hasnt learnt anything from her. So I take her outside every hour and when she goes I say toilet - so now she is getting used to the idea and I stay in the garden with her. But she will come in and just go 10 mins later in the house. Has anyone got any tips. Many thanks

I'd monitor her food and water intake and watch her all the time...if she starts to circle and sniff, out ASAP. If she takes a big drink of water, it will come out soon after.
They don't tend to need to go 'on the hour', they're not machines and accidents happen! I also wouldn't let her have free run of the house - curtail her to a certain area and she will be less likely to want to go there - I wouldn't want to pee in my bedroom :p
Remember lots of praise when she does go outside and try not to reprimand harshly if she goes in the house - she will still go in the house, but just try to hide it from you.

Clear up accidents with biological soap powder or special pet cleaners. Dont used disinfectant or ordinary carpet cleaner as they are amonia based and lock the smell in for a dog.
praise, praise, praise and treats when she pees and poos in the garden.
