My lab puppy who is 7months now, has been vomitting instantly after eating or drinking and I mean immediately after, and cant keep anything down. She is very perky in herself and doesnt look ill at all, just very hungry. I am not aware of anything she has eaten that is suspicious, but then being a pup, I can not be 100% sure, I own her mother and brother and they are fine, her brother did have diareah yesterday but is fine today, she is so well in herself, just this vomitting is as soon as food or water passes her throat, I dont think it even gets down further than that, but surely if there was a blockage, we would see some other signs. Any help anyone????

Those are typical signs of a blockage, maybe the blockage is not far past her throat.......if this persists....get her checked asap.....as suggested, they go down hill very quickly, I would withhold food, and only give water little and often until u can get her to vet.

I hope she is ok.

We took her to the vets today, she is still very perky in herself, and charging around playing, still keen to eat & drink, and was managing to keep food down for a bit but as soon as she was taking water it would come out like a spout, it seemed to be liquids that were the problem. Anyway we took her in and her tempature was ok, she wasnt de-hydrated, they x-rayed her and no blockages, her stomache & bowels are all ok, they have given her anti-biotics and given us some sachets, tablets & tinned duck and rice to give her, we will see how she goes in the next 48 hrs, thanks for all your advise and HAPPY NEW YR 2U ALL XXXX
