I have used it, but tried Agrobs and preferred that. I used the muesli.

But, with a good doer, I would scrap the hard feed altogether. I do like Lamigel, it is more a soup they drink, you can out any additives in it.

What height/age/weight is your good doer and what level of work are they in?

How is he kept (in/out) and what is he currently fed?

What are you looking for in a feed/why are you feeding?

Feeding for a token feed to add supplements if needed I have two both good doers one not ridden the other in light work. Looking for alternative to fast fibre really.

Keyflow Pink Mash

Very Fat Cob gets half a single handful of it, it expands when soaked, to mix his supplements (salt, magnesium and Progressive Earth Pro Balance) into then another small handful of Topspec Zero Chaff (4mj/kg)

Not tried Pure foods other than their treats which are very much approved of.

I use a mix of speedibeet and agrobs wiesencobs to carry supplements. As his feeds are small, a sack of each lasts over a year. Finally one aspect of keeping horses that doesn't cost a fortune! :)

My two have a mug of Pure Easy just to add supplements to and as a token breakfast after being on a bare field overnight. DP is EMS and he is fine on it and B is looking a bit lean at the moment so will up his hay. Both fully clipped and in work 6 days a week. They wouldn’t eat the Agrobs after a while so the cows got it.

The feeds are fine but actually really quite expensive for what they are. So unless you specifically need an Alfa and NIS free fibre feed then you are probably wasting your £

I have used Pure Easy and Pure Fibre Balance, horse liked therm, and didn't get bored of them as he did with the Agrobs. We now need a lower sugar/starch feed, so use Honeychop Lite and Healthy, which is lovely, has flowers in like Agrobs, but cheaper and more widely available.

I used Pure Veteran for B Fuzzy when she arrived in Dec 18 having had foal weaned and looking poor. Yes, she was rising 9 but having used veteran feeds previously on a young poor pony and had good results, I tried it and it did a v good job.
I now use Working, only a little and its v handy as I can just grab a tablespoon size amount for each of the 2 tinies to have as 'dinner'.

That would be my take too. I was essentially feeding the constituents for a lot less £ than my YO was spending on pure (she switched).
They were helpful to borrow when feeding antibiotics though, and the similarity did mean that F once got the breakfast of the poor dooer TB next door, albeit I would have thought the quantities indicative.
