Put a smile on my face, just wanted to share

My parent's have been caring for my dog while I've been overseas. They sent me this videoclip last night and it's had me smiling since. Nothing special, just Jax playing around on the police K9 training field pretending he knows what he's doing...in reality, he'd never seen any of those obstacles before in his life. We have no illusions of him ever doing any Police work, he's just our wonderful rescue pet.

I take it your dad is a dog handler then, he's really good with him. Jax was great, maybe you should be thinking of doing agility when you get back.

My dad was a handler about twenty years ago. He loved it, and we keep telling him to find a way to get back into it, especially as the department he worked for as a handler (and eventually ended up being Chief of) is looking for a new K9 coordinator.

I had thought about agility but I'm sure that takes more coordination than I possess

Great vid, I agree your dad has a lovely attitude to Jax. You should definitely have a go at agility with him (Jax not your dad) it looks as if he would love it.
