Exactamondo:D:D

I think its woman who are into fashion and take better care of themselves than say tomboy hacks like me:rolleyes::D who have little experience of owning a dog and certainly know nowt of responsible breeding or young kids pestering their parents for them because of the stupid,*I mean* cool name:rolleyes: for this the people watching their dogs popping out a counting their ££££££££££££ often with no money in the bank to pay for the casarean:rolleyes:

hmm yeah, i saw the other post about such cross breeds costing £700 etc. It is absolutely ridiculous. It's a mongrel, you can find them in the local cat and dog home, go there and get a x breed for 50 or 60 quid. Imagine paying all that money and not even getting a pedigree or something kc reg. Beggers belief. The designer crosses that i have come across have mostly been scatty and badly behaved. Is that because the people that are buying them and are totally clueless about training and jsut have them as a fashion accessory then? It is all going to cause rescue problems, perfect example is the people who bought the lab x poodle because the child was allergic so they got one as it doesn't shed it's coat. Then the poor dog is discarded because it picked up the wrong coat gene. Not to mention all the health problems that will ocme to the fore.
And talking of the chi x yorkie, what aboutt these 'teacup' pups. They are trying to breed them so small that when it comes time for these ones to breed, there is no way they can healthily carry or whelp a litter. It is just all so wrong!

Although you have a point, not all cross breeds are what you describe! I have a very well behaved, healthy and if I say so myself a 'top class' X ! Her breeding was accidental but we would be lost without her. And for the record, if I could I would order another one!!
As for the Chorkie, took me a while to get my head around that! Iam not a fan of tiny teeny dogs, so 'that' actually scares me somewhat!!

That's funny, must of been divine intervention re-routing numpty designer puppy wanting owner to you Cayla so you could impart some of your wisdom on her.

I don't get the teacup thing either, i mean there tiny dogs to start with why on earth do they need to be any smaller, they might as well just get a guinea pig to shove in there handbags instead. Poor dogs usually end up under socialised as the owners are so scared any normal sized dog will hurt mini-pooch.

Can just imagine your reply Cayla. Having owned and loved chihuahuas, I would imagine that cross would produce some evil little b's. As for teacup pups, our chi bitch was a bit big for the show ring, but still had to have a caesarian for her one and only litter (to another chi I should add).

Ruthnmeg, I don't have a problem at all with crossbreeds, just when people give them ridiculous designer names and charge ridiculous prices for them.

LOL I think you should share the reply with us!
You should direct her to the bunny killling chat, tell her to get a proper dog that can catch its own dinner...reccessionary times and that! :p :D Did you mention to her that in these hard times, yes you do breed 'chorkies' but only to feed the rescues with?! ;)

PMSL might have known it would be my fault :D Sssssshhhhh about the bunnies though, this forum is full of bunny lovers

I cannot imagine a more revolting cross breed than a chorkie personally, but then I do detest both breeds :o Why cant people have proper dogs like greyhounds? :p:D

Funny thats what I thought after typing my reply, maybe it was a good thing, or maybe she will ignore and still want one of my chorkies:D:D
