putting bling on riding hats?

hi everyone. just wondered is anyone has got a blinged out hat ? i'm doing a bit of research as i'm thinking of doing it part time (ebay and localy) mainly on the gpa's, ventairs, gr8's and just togs showjumper. .......so
would you have it done?
How much would you pay?

I take it you mean you are going to glue rhinestones on to the hats.... You would have to be careful because the solvents in the adhesive could well weaken the hat.

What about making bling silks, then you will not have this problem.

Samshield already to it on their hats. TBH i think it is a bit tacky looking and would definitely not give over my hat for it to be done to it. i think its one think if the manufacturers put it on but having forked out for my hat i wouldn't want someone who is not the manufacturer altering it.

Now I love a bit of bling BUT I do think it has gone a little OTT now. Would not wear one but am sure it would sell

TBH I always think that riding hats look like upside down pudding basins - I wouldn't want to emphasise them more with sparkly stuff.

Dont do bling, I like the traditional type hat....might be a market for kids though
