Hi, I have an elderly chocolate lab who is getting on and quite arthritic ( shes on onsoir daily for pain relief and gets glucosamine). Shes lost a bit of muscle on her back end and has dropped weight. The vet isn't concerned as she is otherwise healthy. She gets fed JWB, and rather than just increasing the quantity of kibble I was considering something else, high in calories and perhaps with the added benefits of being good for her joints. Something along the lines of an oil?

Tea and flapjack for your suggestions :)

Have you considered some light sessions of hydrotherapy too? Will help to build some muscle on her back end without loading her joints. Def agree about the sardines too :)
