I'll be really good girl....Or at least point me in the 'Rich Single Men' clique?

I would never have thought of Horsemart advertising £20k horses! The video of it jumping is amazing - it seems very mature for a 3 year old - hope they haven't done too much with it. Also very odd that the add doesn't say one solitary word about the horse!

presume you would just buy it on the back of who it is bred by if you had £20k very nice.

Has it been backed yet !

Dont forget to add shipping costs from Czech republic on top of that !

It's got a decent jump, but not jaw dropping and i think it actually looks pretty ordinary on the flat tbh

Not sure they'll get £20k for it but then i guess there's a bit of extra value in there as a broodmare if it turns out that it can jump under saddle

Rambo - I am not into jumping in a big way (far too scarey for me now), but the horse seemed to have a great attitude towards jumping, made a good shapre over the fence and was extremely careful. Surely that is what makes an above averge/better than good jumper - or would you expect a 3 year old to jump differently? Interested to hear (but as I said, certainly not looking at buying one!).

I too think not jaw dropping (but I would assume jaw dropping would be £100k rather than £20k?) - but certainly above average? And what an AWFUL name for the poor thing.

Well, i'm no big time dealer buying and selling hugely expensive SJ'ers either, but as i said above, it has a decent jump, but it just doesn't 'do it' for me on the flat

I can't be more specific really. The fences it was being popped over weren't vast...they were big enough for a 3yo though. Yes, the horse looks careful enough in front, but i didn't like the way it used it's back over the fence. It looked to come up short a couple of times, and being very woolly, it didn't have that extra 'float' that some horses do over a fence.

Most reasonably bred horses will loose jump over those sorts of fences in a similar way.

Bottom line is, i wouldn't pay £20k for it as i reckon i could get something just as nice for half that

Baloubet du Rouet stock can be a bit tricky too.....so a chestnut mare by him.........you decide

if its anything like one i had with the same sort of breeding, there asking alot lol i only paid £8,000 for mine, and it moved better on the flat, but was as stubbon as a seaside donkey when he felt inclined and could rear for england when under pressure, he would jump well at home and then throw the teddy out at shows.
he was sold on to do dressage, was a pity really as he had a lovely pop in him.

Thanks! I understand what you mean about the extra "float" over a fence - would a horse show that over a smaller fence or just over larger ones? I think £20k seems excessive for most 3 year olds which have not been bred by one of the "big" studs.

i agree with Rambo, its jump is nice - but theres nothing that 'grabs' me with its paces etc, certainly not to value it at £20k............i also worry about the fact that its only 3 and they are already putting it over fences that size

Just my preference, but i wouldnt be loose jumping a valuable 3yr old over a fence that big. But then maybe im just too cautious.

She is stunning, quite nice paces but is much nicer over fences. I would a bit wary about buying a 3yro who is already jumping those hights, a bit much too soon I think but maybe that is just me?
I would say she is priced quite fairly though, good breeding, mare so hopefully breedable from, young, very scopy and average paces. I certainly wouldn't pay any more than that though. But on the other hand she is only 3 so you may be paying too much for a young horse which may not come though the way you want it so may be slightly on the pricey side?

She's quite ordinary...those who ahve seen the loose jumping perforamce champs over here will agree I'd imagine..now those are jawdropping

Thanksyou, can see it now!

Tenerife didnt pay near that amount for her, she was at auction in november as a two year old think she sold for around 15000 euros, which is a lot less than 20K.
Ordinary on the flat but lovely jump and a chestnut mare, if I had the money to throw about I would, as would like to see her go eventing!

If I were rich, I would gladly buy her for you. The horse is wonderful. I was a little surprised, as when people put posts up, to me they are bog standard - this horse clearly is not.

With all due respect, people are commenting on the horse as described, displayed and priced. What is 'bog standard' for one may be wonderful to another, but people will comment on the basis of their own experiences, and by comparing with horses they have either owned or know of.

See I wouldn't say there was nothing special about her jump, what I liked about her, She glides. She is willing but most of all fairly effortless. I do totaly agree with her paces, but these can be improved with dressage so attitude all the way for me. Not like I have 20k anyway...
