We're travelling down today to compete Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 1st proper show in ages so I hope I don't spoon it!

We were thinking of going on sunday to jump a couple of the tiny classes but as they were due to be on grass and the weather has been so cr@p we decided not to bother. Sods law really as the sun has now been shining solidly for a week and the going should be perfect

No matter...with any luck we'll be picking the kids new pony up this weekend instead so we can play with that instead

I was press ganged into entering the 1.10 and 1.15 with new horse then realised this was the main arena. And they will have water. And the have a funny measuring stick! Oh well

I dont know , we just had a pop around the 1.05 Riding club teams on Sunday and when I hacked on Mon he was lame, never been lame with me before

going to vet clinic next week with him. What classes are you going to do?
 
I'm sure you'll be fine. They do build VERY upto height on the surface arena but horses jump so well off it it really doesn't seem to matter

I'm not sure the water will be in the 'ordinary' classes either...usually just the feature classes like the Fox 2nd Round and GP

If the horse will jump a tray though it'll probably not bat an eyelid at the proper water
