Pyrantel for tapeworm

Does anyone know the mg/kg body weight needed to treat tapeworm, looking at pyrantel they all state double dose but some contain 11mg/kg and some are 19mg/kg,giving 22 and 38mg/ kilo which seems a big difference. Thanks

Is it pyrantel embonate or pamoate? Maybe you are looking at one of each, which is why they are different doses?

Embonate is 38mg according to Google.

Just double dose what it says on the pack.

Embonate, both were I have one very difficult to worm horse and was wondering as 2 x11mg would be 22 maybe I could get away with one 19 mg for her, but with the huge difference in doses I wondered if the dose is really relevant. Thanks
