Q about sprenger snaffles-old style, NOT the KK ultra-still available?

I think.....they are called a Conrad training snaffle. I sold one on ebay this year that was about 10 years old ( although had been sat in storage!). It was made of aurigan and had 70mm rings. There are a few on ebay but not sure that they are available with smaller rings, but you never know!

are the original style KK snaffles still available, think they are known as training snaffle?

if so, were they ever produced with 55mm (bradoon) rings????

thanks!

If you mean the KK with a lozenge, then yes they were produced with small rings. The mouthpiece was thinner than the normal snaffle (like any bridoon). For one horse I used to use a regular KK snaffle as the bridoon as he liked a thicker mouthpiece although it would be too much of a mouthful for some horses.
