The little yard I'm groom on has more recently been doing a bit on the all weather track rather than nh due to the ground. As the person in charge of making the horses beautiful this has given me a slight issue! Dirty socks! Tips please at removing all weather black greasiness yuck easily would be appreciated!

Fairy liquid strips grease brilliantly, then rinse white bits with Reckitt's Blue in hot water to get them reeeaaally white. Finally, cover legs with baby oil (let them dry first so it really sinks in) and the dirt and grime won't stick.

Will give the fairy a try tomorrow.
Yes waxy surface, apparently Wolverhampton just been resurfaced or something done to it which seems to have made it worse. I did cover them with show shine before they went but not been back in since so am hoping its made a big difference!
Horrible stuff!
I had wondered about baby oil- may try that next time also.
Staarzan thanks will look out for Recketts Blue- never heard of it!
