Q for Dressage peeps

Good morning all!

Just wondered if anyone had any contacts/recommendations for buying dressage horses in Holland/Germany. Particluarly Westphalian/Oldenburg lines.

Has anyone gone direct to the National Stud's to get a 3/4yr old?

Would like to use an agent to go out and look. Has anyone done this - good/bad experiences?

I second Kay as two people at my yard bought their horses through Kay and they are both lovely horses and only have good things to say about her.

I enquired about a horse with Kay last year and she couldn't have been more helpful.

Didnt go through with it in the end since the horse really was a tad on the small side for me but she was excellent.

she can talk the hind leg off a donkey aswell, i can never get away frm her when she phones me!!

Or you could try Michel and Mette Assouline, just run a search on Assouline Dressage, as they may have some already there that are suitable, if not Mette will source the horse for you....

If you are looking for a Westphalian go no further than Garry Williams at GDH. Down to earth chap, highly recommend, Very very good horses!
