QQ - Tarka T/O Rug weights

I have forgotten what weight my horse's Tarka turnout rug is!! Doh.

Anyway, its one of the original ones with a high neck and is blue on the top and black at the bottom.

I am not sure if it is medium or heavyweight and would be grateful if somebody more clever than me could help or advise.

Pony is unclipped, stabled and it was -4 when I got in tonight at 6 pm. I hope he is not cooking. Was hoping it was a medium. At least I know now and can dress him accordingly tomorrow.

Its like the artic in Scotland at the moment.

I love these rugs, hard wearing and not in some stupid crazy colour scheme.
 
I looked on the label and couldnt see a weight. Please could you give me an indication of where?

I feel such an idiot. The rug is 8 years old and he only usually has it on when clipped.
 
I must say when I first chose the red one I thought it looked really 'laery'!
I don't think I'd seen a red rug before & it is scarlet red. Needless to say it was muddy brown within a day or two!

Mine is still going strong but is having this year off.
 
I think it might just say MW or HW on the label, I'd go and look at mine but it's at the yard. Reason I think it's there is that when I got my big lad his old owner said that was his stable rug and it was only when I investigated the bag later on this year I noticed it was the Tarka and checked the label to see sizes etc
 
The red ones are pretty bright I have to admit, but a good dose of mud soon tones it down!

I liked the red, but I think they came with a neck and I wanted a high neck.

The new style ones look leary to me.
