do you mean in the engine? if so then its alsways best to use the manufacters recomended grade of oil (10w30, 15w40 ect ect) different oils have different temperature ranges and ware properties!
i have no idea lol, all i know is we are getting a 4 stroke honda, so im trying to find out what i need to put in to get it working, so a honda 4 stroke? how often do you have to put oil in and is that all you do to get it working?
it should come with oil in it, i think you are getting confused with 2 stroke engines which need oil adding to the petrol or have an oil reserve which adds oil automaticaly and needs topping up! 4 stroke engines have there lubricating oil in the crank case and should be checked regulary but if engine working ok and not leaking then shouldnt need topping up only changeing as per the service intervals!
thanku, i think ive also just realised it needs petrol, is unleaded from a garage ok? same as for a car
its a honda trx350fm if thats any use, i think ive got mixed between oil and petrol like a div, im guessing then that the oil is like a car oil, keep it topped up and change when needed, and petrol is what the thing runs on to go from a to b?
can you just go to the garage when putting petrol in the car, and fill a little tub up for the quad back at home?
