Hi Guys,

Anyone got any amazing tips, or do i need to splash out on the Supreme products :)

We have some showing champs coming up- outside not under lights, and looking to make my markings stand out even more!

Currently im just using damp brush for them, and bit of spray over the top.

But is there something to really make them stand out and pop?

Thanks!

What colour is your horse? Some (i.e. grey) will always be harder to make more visible.
On the bays we've always just used showsheen to make sure they have a good gloss to start with, damp brush to do the markings and fixing spray for hold if necessary.

Hmm they should come up lovely, other than piling on the showsheen and not using too much water !? Have you tried using different styles so that they hit the light in an alternative way?

Hope you don't mind me tagging into your thread, but I have recently purchased a Willberry stencil and I tried it this week and it didn't last.

My lad is bright bay. I brushed the hair smooth and then back brushed the stencil, but should I be doing it a different way?

Thanks

I've found preparation of the coat is everything, they must be immaculately clean and the coat well conditioned. Starting with a clean coat, I'd then damp the coat, put quarter marks on and then spray with a coat shine to finish. Though you will always get a better look the darker the coat is, my bright bay was tricky to get really distinct marks on as her coat was so pale.

My down quatermark/stripe at end of quarters stands out super.

I do "V" sports mark over top and sharks teeth down flank
