Which would you go for?

I have a Mark Todd wrap around waterproof exercise sheet. It's great if it's raining, but isn't so great if it's just a bit chilly as it looks big and cumbersome on her (think she could've done with it a bit smaller) and looks like it should only be on when wet.

I've seen the Thermatex, Aerborn Thermalux and their "Be Seen" quarter sheet.

The Aerborn "Be Seen" ones have a tail flap and have reflective strips along the patterning. Thermatex type ones don't have tail flaps. Will a quarter sheet be ok, or should I go for a full wrap around?

She gets a bit fresh when her botty is exposed to the colder elements now she's clipped.

I have the Aerborn Be Seen quarter sheet and absolutely love it!
I wanted something that could be taken off easily, and always find wrap around styles slip, and I never wrap them around me anyway!

I've got the Thermatex quarter sheet and a Nordic (the wrap around one with waterproof for over your legs). I love them both

Does it slip at all? I can't have a traditional quarter sheet that fits on to rings on the back of the saddle, which is why the Be Seen one took my fancy. My saddle only has D rings either side of the pommel.

My Mark Todd one always seems to pull tight over her withers. I assume that's because it slips back.

Never really used it much before, but Patches has been rather fresh (for her at least) the last few days without anything. She is fully clipped mind you.

Nope, doesn't slip

I was wary about getting a quarter sheet too, as not all of my saddles have D's, but it attaches around the top of the girth straps with a velcro fastening so it's very quick and fits all of my saddles

It isn't very thick, and I thoguht it was a bit flimsy to start with, but it seems to retain their body heat really well. The reflective bits are really good too, I schooled in the dark in it the other night and I was luminous just from a light that was 70 or so metres away... and it means I can get my sister to wears something a bit more visible out on the roads as she is completely allergic to hi-vis
