Does anyone have any advice regarding using Quattro rubber mats that are joined and sealed? I am thinking of replacing my old EVA ones and like the idea that these are sealed so there's no leakage underneath them. My main concern is that they're as comfy as the EVA ones and if they are as warm - I know the hard rubber ones don't feel warm for them to lie on.

They are hard, slippery when wet, and heavy. No real saving on bedding.
I spent a fortune on two 12x 12 stables, glued down as the stables flooded at times and had to leave them when we moved. I far prefer my cheap EVA. I take them to shows so the horse isn’t on gravel or hardcore and I just move them where I want them.

Someone I know has just had them fitted. Cost £500 per stable 😮 They feel just like normal rubber mats but are more on the hard than soft side. They're not using the stables yet though, so I don't know how they'll perform.

Thank you for your replies. Our stables are big as they were previously foaling boxes and whilst the stables are fully fitted with matts only half of the stable has bedding down. They sometimes lie on the beds at the back but more often than not they lie at the front on the mats with just a scattering of bedding, hence why I wondered about comfort and warmth.
Goldenstar - have you found them slippery when wet aswell?
