What do you pay for a full set ?

£40 for normal shoes, £45 with stud holes, not remedial work, hot shoeing by a top class farrier. Location NI

I used to pay £55 for full set with road nails in. Paid £6 etc for stud holes all round. I have heard though that my farrier has put his prices up.

BTW - mine are all barefoot now

£50 a full set, an extra £1 per stud hole, so mine are £56 a set at the mo.

and hell only come every 6 weeks.... does whole yard and everyone wants him to come about 8 weeks but wont

£48 for full set, but I know farriers in my area who charge £75 for full set (just normal shoes - not gold plated!)

QR - £50 per set. he hot shoes my horse but cold shoes the pony and we pay the same for them both! Saying that i love my farrier so he could charge the earth and I would pay it.

£60 for hot shod, £1 per road nail although he doesn't normally charge me for these, having said that, since he started shoeing my boy last year, hes picked up another nine horses so he should start paying me!
