Looks like my 2 and half year old has lost his baby central incisor and the adult one is coming through. I suppose that the shed tooth will be lost in the field somewhere. Does anyone every find them?

There is an odd mark above the other baby central incisor - a round circular mark 10p size on the gum but not attached to the gingival margin but well above it. Doesn't seem to be sore or look infected. Mark looks old if you know what I mean. I did want to get a picture of it but not happening. Will keep trying though. Anyone got any ideas what that could be or is it likely to be related to the developing tooth yet to appear?

bump? Any ideas? The area has not changed since I posted this thread and it id certainly not affecting his eating!

Vet is coming to do routine vaccs and dental in a few weeks so will get them to investigate then. Beginning to think it is related to the erupting tooth or perhaps a supernumary. Do horses get supernumary teeth?
