Query - BE legal bit???

Hello

just a query - I got my BE packs in the post yesteray (yippee) and checked out the pages with all the bits that are legal. and they didn't show a French Link Fulmer on there? I have one, and wanted to know if I can use it? I would be for jumping / xc phases, not for dressage.??

also - didn't show a waterford but my friend rode her jumping phases in one last year..

You can have any combination of mouth piece and cheeks shown in the rule book so that would be fine.

Waterford ok for jumping cos you can have pretty much anything!

No, it is confusing! But I used to work there so have a head start!!

Basically the bit rules are for dressage phase only. SJ and XC pretty much anything short of barbed wire is allowed.

we have untested brakes so don't know what we'll end up with using - guess i'll find out soon enough LOL!

I use a french link fulmer for jumping phases too.

You should see some of the bits on equiport! Serious brakes!
