query re; horse transport insurance

how do top riders that ride other peoples horses cope with
insurance ??
if i had a friend competing my horse and she was willing to transport it for me where do i stand re; insurance.

as far as i knew you aren't supposed to travel other peoples horses??

All the top riders have operators licences on their lorries, hire and reward insurance, employers, public and care, custody and control insurance. They also have a DEFRA licence.

Without these vosa will impound the lorry and load.

Check the recent editors letters where one persons 7.5t was overloaded! VOSA are fining and putting points on licences! Also getting future insurance would be difficult.

Be legal out there.
