I'm in need of some new breeches and currently looking at Dublin, as have always liked theirs. Does anyone know the difference between their various "models"? They do an Imperial, a Houndstooth (I think) and a Supafit. There isn't much on the descriptions on the Dublin website. All have a full seat but presumably one will be the "economy" breeches and one will be their top of the range.

Any opinions on any of the various Dublin breeches? I liked their older style high waisted breeches but they don't seem to make them any more, just the hipster-types ones (also have those and am not so keen).

Thanks :)

I'd avoid the supafit- the full seat is incredibly stiff & inflexible! I've had them in the past but wouldn't
buy again. For me they were too thick for summer use. By the time the full seat softened up the breeches were wearing out at the knee! Much better breeches about! Not had experience of the other two.

Great, thanks. That explains why the Supafit are so cheap then!

I also quite like the look of the Mountain Horse breeches but no experience. The last pair I bought were Just Togs - never again!!

I've a really old pair of MH breeches(10 yrs!) Still going strong & much admired by many people! Out of interest why wouldn't you have just togs again? I've been tempted by just togs in the past but never tried any.

I've had a pair of Dublin Houndstooth jods/breeches (??) and can highly recommend them. Extremely comfortable - have been heavily worn and washed extensively for about the last year. They've just worn a hole on the seat - am replacing them with both the blue and brown pair.

Hard wearing and very comfortable - for the price - a good buy.
