Hi all,

Just have a general question really as I've never had this happen before!

My daughters 4 yr old cob is living out at the moment, I brought him in this morning and picked his feet out straight away as I always do.

I noticed that when I picked out both his back feet, both had bits of the sole missing. Do I need to get my farrier out? Or shall I just leave it, keep on oiling his feet as normal?

any advice would be appreciated thanks

Do you have any pictures and does the horse have shoes on? Soles can exfoliate and some more experienced people on here would be able to tell you if it's anything to worry about :)
