I find I rise from the thigh in trot when I ride narrow horses. On my own beast (muscly and wider) ðŸŽI rise from the stirrups. (I saw video of myself today)
I think I'll get better by doing the rising trot without stirrups, but I'm curious as to why a wider horse would make it more difficult. He also has a very big stride, so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.
I'm just curious as to why this would be. Has anyone else experienced this on some horses but not others?
