I think the answer to this might be different for different riding clubs, but just wondering what the general rule is..
My local riding club have restrictions on the lower classes, e.g. combination not to have won 3x1st place rosettes. Today my mare and I won the 2ft and 2ft 3 classes
D), which, in addition to winning classes previously at the same show, means we now can't compete in the 2ft or 2ft 3 classes.
Do these restrictions generally only apply per season or is it usually the case that once you've won X amount, you can't ever do the smaller classes again?
I guess what we should be doing is moving up to the next height up, but due to an old injury, I don't really want to take her any higher for fear of causing her problems again. I guess we'll have to find somewhere else to compete at the lower heights and keep her going that way...
Poor old girl; she still thinks she can jump 3ft 6 I think!
