Question for you Showing People!

I do everthing in a snaffle mainly, but occationally hack in a pelham and show in a pelham, o and when I jump out I use a universal.
I dont think it makes much difference that I have different bridles for different things, I would prefer to use the breaks I actually need for what I'm doing, whats the point of schooling and jumping at home in a pelham or universal when I dont actually need it?!

Bit of both.
If I am just generally schooling, or jumping etc, I will use the snaffle, but when practicing for a show, or schooling to achieve a show "feel" etc I will use the pelham to get the horse used to the difference, and therefore the expected different outcome (not a dramatic difference, he just has to elevate himself a bit more.... and he auto does it naturally now in the pelham...)

but i wont rely on a pelham to get an outline, he will work nicely in a pelham, its just a bit of a harder start! :)
