I am not motivated at all at the moment! The last time I rode was three weeks ago when I fell off and hurt myself. I am fine now-but the longer I go without riding-the less I feel like it and I know my mare will be spooky as hell after the break in work! I need some warmer weather to motivate me!

Only bareback in the field as darent go out. Now its pi&^ing down with rain so I prob wont be riding for a while. Not looking forward to the state of the field over the next week or so. NO school so depends on weather now if I hack out or not.

Polo has carried on as normal in an outdoor arena- Horses have carried on as normal over frozen tracks/gritted roads/indoor school and ponies have carried on as normal in outdoor arena when it's defrosted enough to be safe, no ungritted roads to easily get to.

No, our snow is deep and it is covering a thick layer of ice from the last lot of snow. Thankfully my mare is OK with time off other than attempting to become an orange space hopper shape....:-)

I put other as although I am riding it depends on how sane my horse is that day as to what we do. I'll either ride him in the paddock or lead him inhand up the road and then jump on once on the path.

I have been riding another liveries horse who is as good as gold so will hack if not icy. So lucky to be able to ride him safely at least :)

Had a glorious ride (bloody glorious it was!:D ) yesterday before the vet came later in the day for jabs. Would have ridden 1st thing this morning except for resting after jab :(
Got out last weekend on all 4 occasions, but nothing for the 2 weeks before that.

Prob not going to get a chance till this batch of snow gives up now tho.

Thanks you to everyone for your replies. So glad snow gone now :)

Ha! Yours may have, ours has just started:) We've only had it on the ground for a month. No, I don't ride often, can't be bothered, too old, too cold (-22C at 7am this morning) and too much to do.
