Apols for dunce question. I have 2 JRT X bitches, both great with other dogs. One only interested in her ball and the other very playful and submissive. A friend at the yard has (it's a long story) an andolescent entire Weimaraner and an adolescent entire Whippet. Things are confused by her husband refusing to help out at all, so my friend has to do it all. She would like to take her daughter for a visit to her hometown and asked her husband if he'd look after the dogs and he said flat-out no. Anyway rights or wrongs of this aside, I'd like to offer to look after the whippet (he seems a gorgeous fellow). I couldn't cope with the massive Weimie and 3 other dogs but could help by taking the whippet, who's very friendly with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. They met today with polite happy wagging and sniffing, no aggro. So basically my question is, do you think it'd be ok to look after an entire male with my 2 spayed bitches for a few days? I've never been in this position so don't know what issues may or may not arise. Any advice much appreciated x

I think it would be fine, just so long as he's not notorious for humping other dogs or bitches (whether neutered or not) especially when excited.

Yes, shouldn't be a problem, just make sure that you do have a set up whereby they can be seperated safely when at home in case the whippet gets amorous.

I agree - shouldn't be a problem at all, so long as he's not a humper. I've had a neutered male get amorous with an entire bitch but not vice versa.
