Question Re puppies eyes

We went to see new puppy yesterday, (rather adorable, total poppet), but I am a little concerned about his left eye. It was a little lopsided, for want of a better word. Whilst looking forwards at me, his left eye was looking a little to the left (outwards, away from his nose) so that you could see the white of his eye. It was only very slight and when I asked his breeder, she assured me it was normal and would straighten out in time, that it was to do with learning to focus. Should I be worried? (he is a 4 week old cavalier)

Just looking through my pictures again, it seems to work through to the other eye too, in one picture he is looking at me with the left eye and the right eye is looking outwards. In other pictures it is barely noticeable (just to paint a better picture)
