Question re riding after horse having teeth done?

Hi All, know this must be a silly question BUT my Mare is having her teeth done for the first time since I got her - she is only 4 so unsure if her teeth have been looked at before - she can be a typical baby at times so I firstly have no idea how she will react & will she be sore afterwards?? If so is it best to leave for a day before riding her?

I would. She will probably be sore and may have to be sedated if she gets anxious or the back teeth need lots of attention.

Ask whoever is doing the teeth. They will know the answer for your individual horse.

My EDT said she recommends riding or not acording to the work that has been done. Last time she said get on and ride her as she had a good rasp and wolf cap taken off and that was all. Ask the dentist
