Questions on Fly Rug

I am a bit of a fly rug novice, but as I have just clipped Murph, I have put one on....

A few questions....

Do you leave it on overnight?
Do you leave it on/worry if it rains?
Do I need to buy a white one... have navy one but worried he might get too hot!

Do you leave it on overnight? No.
Do you leave it on/worry if it rains? If it's going to be very wet then I don't put it on. They do dry quickly after a shower on a warm day, so I will put it on if it's going to be hot with showers.
Do I need to buy a white one... have navy one but worried he might get too hot! I have the Amigo Mio which is 'bronze' (creamy brown) and they don't get too hot in those. I would go and check he isn't too hot on a sunny day for peace of mind, but he should be fine if the rug is lightweight mesh.

Yes, leave them on all the time. No need to take off overnight.

Yes, leave on if it rains. Fine on its own if showery but thin skinned TB gets light weight rug thrown on over to top if it is going to be heavy rain.

Do you leave it on/worry if it rains? NOT A PROBLEM WHEN IT RAINS IT DRYS QUICK, I HAVE A RAMBO HOODIE, ALSO YOU CAN GET A WATERPROOF LINER THAT YOU CAN ATTACH.

WHITE OR LIGHT COLOURS ARE BEST BECAUSE THEY REFLECT, DARK COLOURS ABSORB THE HEAT.
